At Camarena Health, we believe in investing in our most valuable resource: our people. In response to the growing need for X-ray technicians capable of adapting to the versatile demands within our clinics, we chose to look inward and offer opportunities for our existing staff to grow.
Through a partnership with the Central California School of Continuing Education, our medical assistants were given the opportunity to expand their skill sets by earning X-ray certifications. But we didn’t stop there. We recognized that professional development goes beyond one role, so we launched a cross-training program designed to upskill both front- and back-office staff. This program incentivizes our medical assistants and registration staff to earn higher certifications, opening doors to career advancement and enhancing the level of care we provide to our patients.
One of the key strengths of this initiative is that it allows staff to further their education without sacrificing their income. Our team members can continue working while gaining valuable skills, ultimately benefiting not just themselves, but our entire organization and the communities we serve.
We are maximizing our resources and using our biggest resource, which is our staff. We are investing in our people.
