Each August, the collective efforts of health centers come together to highlight the health center movement’s significance and the profound influence these centers have within their communities. Community Health Centers stand as pillars of strength, dedicated service, and compassionate care. They offer solace and empathy in times of sorrow, and in moments of triumph, they instill hope and shape visions for tomorrow. This year’s National Health Center Week theme embarked on a virtual odyssey across America, casting a spotlight on the accomplishments and exceptional endeavors undertaken by Community Health Centers in every corner of the nation. Among these champions, Camarena Health added its voice through a series of celebrations, each focusing on specific areas of commitment.

During Health Center Staff Appreciation Day, Camarena Health staff indulged in donuts and the delight of Dippin’ Dots as a token of gratitude.

For Agricultural Worker Health Day, the invaluable agricultural workforce received thoughtful tumblers to help them stay refreshed and cool throughout the summer months.

As advocates for our stakeholders, we provided an exclusive tour of the new Almond campus that showcased our Urgent Care facility and comprehensive medical and dental facilities.

In honor of Children’s Health Day, we organized a Wellness Resource event in Oakhurst, where attendees had the privilege of meeting our Pediatrician and Health Center staff. This gathering featured a distribution of backpacks, school supplies and included participation of several partners who generously contributed essential resources to the community.

National Health Center Week’s mission is to cultivate public consciousness surrounding the important role played by Community Health Centers and the tireless dedication exhibited by these centers each day. Our gratitude extends to our remarkable staff, board members, and the collaborative agencies that united to share this message throughout the community.
