Camarena Health celebrates National Health Center Week 2022
Community health centers across the country as well as celebrating the Camarena Health community in the Central Valley with events and giving to our employees, our agricultural partners, and children.
Camarena Health employees were treated to Dutch Bros. coffee and massage guns. Employees at Agriland and Specialty Crop Company were gifted lunch boxes. A Children’s Day event was hosted outside of Camarena Kids which featured booths by Camarena Health’s health education and behavioral health teams, EPU Children’s Center Madera County First 5, and WIC. And no event is complete without an appearance from Cam the Heart!
The spirit of National Health Center Week is fueled by the goal to raise awareness about the missions and accomplishments of health centers across the United States while giving back to employees, patients, and community members. Our nation’s health centers serve over 28 million patients – a number that continues to grow alongside the demand for affordable primary care. In addition to their long history as millions of people’s health care homes, community health centers produce innovative solutions to their communities’ most pressing health care issues and go beyond the scope of conventional medicine to address the social determinants of health that affect unique patient populations.
We are so thankful to our staff, our board members, and all the agencies that worked with us to share this message with the community!
