Celebrating Our First Graduating Class
of Clinical Medical Assistants
At Camarena Health, we believe in empowering our staff to reach their full potential, and our recent Clinical Medical Assistant (M.A.) graduation is a testament to that commitment. This summer, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our first cohort of 10 Clinical Medical Assistants, a group of dedicated individuals who have successfully completed a rigorous 12-week program.
The journey began in May, thanks to a grant-funded partnership with the Central Valley Health Network (CVHN) and Jewish Vocational Service (JVS). Our goal was to provide our front support staff with an opportunity to advance their skills and take on more significant roles within our organization. The program was designed to be intensive, with participants balancing their regular duties while completing the coursework on their own time.
Through their determination and mutual support, all 10 participants successfully navigated the program, encouraging each other every step of the way. Their hard work culminated in a heartfelt graduation ceremony, where they were joined by their families, friends, and colleagues to celebrate this incredible achievement.
This graduation marks only the beginning for our graduates. The confidence and skills they have gained through this program have set them on a path to even greater accomplishments in their careers. As we look to the future, we are excited about the possibility of offering this program to more of our staff, continuing our mission to enrich our community through professional growth and development.
